Day two, leg two

Gday I hope today finds you all well and happy 🙂

I have arrived safely at my friends’ place in Taree. I had an interesting night last night after I had shut down the computer and gotten ready for bed .. my least favourite being on our magnificent planet decided to pay me a visit much to my horror lol. You guessed it, a spider (namely a Huntsman) of very large dimensions ran across the opposite side of my motorhome … at the foot of my bed! Now they won’t kill you but they can give you a nasty bite… I am getting better now, I do not freeze and scream ‘like a girl’ lol however I simply cannot abide their presence in such close proximity. I have tried to catch them and put them out but the poor buggers inevitably end up minus legs :s I sidled past warily, grabbed the can of spray in one hand and my thong in the other. I quickly sprayed it to slow it down and then whacked with the thong because a. I cannot abide leaving it to die a possibly slow death and b. I needed to be sure it was really dead!

I needed to fill up my tank ready for the day and my darling Alex woke me up before five am this morn so I took advantage and so, after feeding Alex and taking him for a walk to do his business, scoffing a quick coffee while I was at it, I took off and beat the traffic in Kempsey. I made good time and the only vehicle that caused any trouble was … wait for it..a police wagon.

Well we are safe so it matters not, though it serves as a lesson to watch out for cops in more ways than one! One would think they would know not to come around the outside of the motorhome on a round about.

Anyways I am blogging now because I intend to thoroughly enjoy my time with my friends instead of blogging later tonight… as always Blessings to you all may the Goddess keep you safe till we meet back here again 🙂
