The Start of Another Week
Gday, is it just me or does time seem to be galloping along now! I used to think it was just as you got older that time marched too quickly, after all when you are young you can’t wait for it to move along and it drags; when you are older you want it to slow down so you can savour everything and push death back just a tad lol.
However I have noticed that even teens are complaining at how fast time is moving.. mind you they also worry about turning.. omg lol.. thirty! So might be the answer. I would love to hear what your take is on it. Personally I do believe that the concept of ‘time’ has shifted as we have shifted.
Anyway I was wondering how you spent your weekend. I spent mine with a mixture of delightful views, natural friends … my dragon lizard seems now to wait for me, appearing on my way back home lol.. I would miss him I think if he didnt make an appearance when I walk the headland.. I hope he decides to keep me as a friend, he rounds out my world 🙂
Saturday was rainy so I hired some DVD’s to keep us occupied.. you have to see Red Dog.. it is soooo Aussie and its the first movie I have seen in a long time that needs nothing other than the story to make it truly memorable! This is a keeper, its on my list of must buys 🙂
Sunday we walked the headland, enjoyed the acquaintanceship with my dragon.. must name him you know…and then headed off to the markets. So hot! The day turned out to be 34 degrees celcius…for those still on farenheit that is 93.2.. that is horrendously hot in my part of the coast, most especially in spring! Anyway we beat the heat by going to the markets early where I get lovely local organic eggs, vegetables and fruit. Everyone was smiling and relaxed, the local radio station was in attendance to play music, including anything the market goers requested. Lovely atmosphere. I was intent though on getting home before the heat, in the back of my mind was the idea that we might go swimming later. The intensity of the heat blew that idea right out the window lol…
I watched another DVD, Josh headed off with his mates for an hour to the local supermarket..woohoo LOL.. sighs with relief at a quiet hour for self though I love him dearly. When he got back we enjoyed some lunch and headed out to take back the hired dvd’s.. more vegging, too hot for anything else. Around sunset I enjoyed a long happy walk with daughter! What a lovely way to finish my weekend… what about you? Please feel free to comment, its lovely to share conversation with those who visit.. can you tell I enjoy a chat? hehehehe
Have a wonderful Monday everyone!
