Ode to the Spring Equinox 2017

It seemed all of nature had come out to play
As I opened my eyes to a beautiful day.
The sun shining brightly through leaves of the tree
That dwells by my window and beckons to me.
The flowers are blooming as they share my delight
In the coming of springtime; a future that’s bright.
Once more all of nature begins its rebirth;
The courtship and mating of the creatures on earth.
Rejoice in all children who are born of this time:
The furred and the finned ones, the scaled or slimed.
To each there’s a purpose, a life that is bound
To add to Her bounty as the Wheel turns around.
The Mother is dressed in Her prettiest hues;
She beckons Her children to forget winter blues.
Come hither She urges as She shimmers anew.
We’re all here my darlings, just waiting for you.
There’s places where magic dwells deep in the soul.
There’s beauty still hidden and yet to unfold.
Remember your roots are as deep as that tree.
Let the Mother enrich you; be wild and free!

    Love it! Your imagery is brilliant, and you paint a picture both physically and emotionally beautiful. I SO identify with your thoughts, as well as your expression of them. Thank you!
