and another month approaches :)

Hello!

I feel much more rested now; I have had some ups and downs as I find myself looking for somewhere to roost lol. I think overall the message from spirit is that I am not supposed to roost thank you very much 🙂 I have been up and down the coast between my daughter’s place, my sister and nephew’s place and my dear friends Marie and Colin. I was most annoyed to find a ranger at my door within the first few days of relaxing by the river. I had purposely gone out of my way to avoid free camping where there was a ‘No Camping’ sign and felt I was doing it right, therefore would be in no danger of being fined for soaking up the healing energies of nature close to where I had lived.
Ha! No way was that going to be allowed to happen lol. I think I had been just down the road for one night .. well we had lol .. before moving onto a much nicer spot, again where there was no sign to say I couldn’t free camp. I knew I would need to go from there soon to recharge my house batteries. Though I have two solar panels in winter my batteries need a boost now and then.

I had only just had my smart charger for allowing plugging into the 240 volt and top up the batteries put in and wanted to gauge how long it would take before I needed to ‘plug in’. I had noticed they were beginning to struggle and had decided that I would spend one more night before seeing to it lol .. and that’s when the Ranger swooped! I got up early, had my morning coffee as I gazed out over the river that was glistening softly in the early morning light. Normally just after Alex and co are fed, we go for a walk so that Alex can ‘do his constitutional business’ where I can pick it up and dispose of it. This morning though, I dragged my feet.. I was not sure why but felt that I needed to stick around. I had noticed my previous neighbours ( the tree murderers) drive past the night before and had felt disquietened by their passing.

Around seven thirty a ranger came around. Had I not been there, I’ve no doubt I would have come back to a ticket. However I hopped quickly out of the motorhome and grinned at him, commenting on the beauty of the morning and asking him what I could do for him. He told me that camping overnight was illegal there. I replied that there was no sign which is why I had chosen this spot. He said that it was a council bylaw that there was to be no camping overnight there. I was baffled by the lack of signage and asked him where then in Mylestom I could free camp to which he replied ‘Nowhere!’ I am outraged and confess I feel it is bloody typical of the Coffs Harbour area though this part falls under Bellingen Shire which is why I felt it would be ok in the first place! Apparently I had to either go into a caravan park or park on private property lol.. well it isn’t as if I do not have offers ,its just that I wanted to take some quiet time to let go of the stresses that always seem to be part of moving etc.

Anyway I am thinking maybe its just that I am not meant to stay in this area; maybe it has now become the past. I have been busy sorting out my clothing, visiting people I love and forcing the mechanic from Taree to fix his mistake. The seal he put in is leaking. Fortunately when I took my motorhome to a local trusted mechanic to get the oil change done, he found it. Also just as fortunately I kept the invoice that recorded the timing lol for when I rang the mechanic to have him fix his mistake, which was still under warranty, he at first said he could not find the job on his computer.. I informed him I had my copy lol .. because his next argument was to imply it was done well and truly before winter! It was done June 26th so then I let him know that the Tax Man would be happy to hear of his not having a record of the job.. outcome? He is fixing it today under warranty 🙂 Sometimes ya gotta go to battle whether you want to or not lol and since it was a very expensive job, it was for me the right battle to fight.. and win!

So that is where I am. I feel this hopefully will be the end of such glitches as I believe I am worthy of a clear run lol. I am off now to enjoy my friends’ company while I wait for the call to come pick up my baby 🙂 Blessed Be all x
