22nd December 2014
We’ve come this far; we’ve set the tone
With Kith and Kin, we’ve found our home.
Nothing said can be undone
Be mindful of the painful tongue.
The glistening pools of yesterday
Are here again, the posers say.
Believe them not or all is lost;
The days of treachery soon to post.
Their lies that cause our souls to sleep;
The fears to rule, the hatred deep.
The forests sing their own refrain
Of hallowed ground soaked by the rain.
The oceans rise, the mountains fall
Unless we change, we’ll lose it all.
I pray from deep within my core
That balance will be brought once more.
We’ve got the love to see it through;
The will to fight their evil too.
Despair ye not as darkness falls
In still of night heed our calls.
The Piper plays a beguiling tune
But all mankind will wake up soon
The rats fall dead about his feet
As once again Nature’s replete
Come sing the songs of joyful love
Though slow to move, we’ll rise above
The ruins of their dark decay
And shine the light of man and fae.
Then creatures born in other skins
Are freed at last from human sins.
