Fingers Crossed No More Long Absences eh? LOL

Wow what a long absence from my blog I have taken. Many apologies for the lack of communications. It has been, like you I have no doubt, a torrid time where it seems life has wanted to present unexpected hurdles and demanded action on things one had left ’till a better time’ lol.

For me it has been all about the repairs that have been needed, the urgency escalating as the money and space to get the done has been hard to come by. My attitude at times didn’t help either. Despite my best intentions it seemed to me the blocks to my hopes just kept on coming, bringing with them a creeping sense of defeat that really was as much a product of something that lurked in the shadows of my psyche as much as any outside influences.

Suffice it to say that when the timing was right…. not mine but the Universe’s lol…. it all came together. Slowly to be sure but wonderfully nonetheless. I can’t emphasise enough how satisfying it is to note all that I have accomplished over the last months. No more leaks in my home on wheels; a new second radiator to rejuvenate my ailing cooling system for her motor; plumbing repaired including a new water pump and kitchen tap sigh 🙂 Locks fixed in a couple of places that were in the “less urgent pile” “lol… and at last I feel like my home on wheels is almost ready for renewed adventuring. Oh my poor itchy feet will at last be scratched as my spirit is set free to discover new horizons and different ways of being in parts of our great land I have yet to savour.

Of course my Frankie is a part of that dream, a companion so mischievous and loving that reminds me every day just how magical being alive can be. He is not so keen on new horizons but is learning that it has its upsides, what with the gorgeous humans we meet who are only too keen to give him the belly rubs and adoring looks he considers his due. Though not keen on big dogs due to having been attacked, poor love, he is more than happy to share his sunny personality with every little one that happens along.

We are doing our yearly housesit in Lighthouse Beach for a month and he is loving the freedom of a backyard complete with a beach just five minutes walk away. Me too just quietly lol. However he still demands my attention lol and is now whining for his ball play so I must away. Here’s hoping I get my ass into gear and blog more often.
